A great at home option for hair removal
I really liked using this product. I had heard about how great IPL is as a hair removal option but hadn’t tried it before. I found this to be really fast and straight forward to use. It’s definitely a lot less painful than waxing and while you have to shave beforehand, I didn’t find it to take too much longer than shaving. I’ve heard of other IPL options being on a pretty frequent schedule but being able to do it only once every two weeks is super manageable for me. I didn’t notice much of a change after the first session but definitely did after the second. With how fast I noticed a difference, I’m excited to keep up with the IPL regimen and will likely use this product on additional body parts. I did find the skinsense setting selected for me to be a little painful but was able to easily select a lower setting that wasn’t painful.

Quick, easy, and painless results
My experience with the Phillips Lumea 7000 has been great from the start. This was my first trial of permanent hair removal, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the process was, as well as how many areas could be treated. The treatments were surprisingly comfortable, even at intensity level 5/5, which I was a little nervous about at first. It was helpful that the device suggests an intensity level for you. I started seeing positive results after just two sessions, with less hair growth and less coarse hair for what did grow back. The app was super helpful, not only for reminding me when my next session was due but also for walking me through all the how-tos for different treatment areas, as I was not super confident in my skills being a new user. I’m really looking forward to saving time on self-care maintenance with less shaving! Highly recommend!

Simple, easy to use, & it actually works!
I was very nervous to purchase this product and try it, so I read the directions very carefully before using. There is an app to help with videos and reminders on when to do the next session; however, I used my own calendar reminders. Once I used it the first time, it was SO EASY! I was very pleasantly surprised at how quick and simple it was to use! I adjusted the intensity levels so that it was more comfortable, and I was so surprised that I saw results on just the 2nd level of intensity. I had previously had no positive results with hair removal products or spa-treatments, and after just 2 treatments I noticed thinner and less hair growth under my arm pits and on my legs. There are different models with more features, so I wish I had attachments for smaller areas like toes. The device needs to be level on the skin, so it may take a little maneuvering to get the correct placement in order for the device to give the green ready light. I am very pleased with my results after just a few sessions, and look forward to using it more. My husband is also so excited to keep it and use it in more areas. It has worked for both of our skin (tan) and hair colors (dark blonde and brown). Love it!

Convenient and effective for long-lasting hair removal
I’ve been wanting to try at-home IPL for a while and after researching brands, I found that Phillips was the most recommended by users for being easy to use as well as effective. I’ve now done a few sessions and am very pleased with the experience. The handle makes the device easy to hold and I appreciate that there is a light indicator showing when the device is fully against the skin and ready to be activated. There is a slight snapping feeling when the laser is active, but I felt it was less painful than waxing. I love the fact that I can use this at home and at times when it is convenient for my schedule, but the idea of long-lasting hair removal is the real draw for me. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a convenient and long-lasting way to remove body hair at home. It’s exactly what I was hoping for!

Buy THIS Quality and SAFE device instead of others on Amazon!
I have tried a different device like this that had two concerns that this one did not.First – The competitors device came with sunglasses to wear so that the light emitted by the wand didn’t hurt your eyes but these were cheap gas station sunglasses and I really didn’t trust that they would help. This really concerned me because the thing was something I got off a link from Instagram and wasn’t a trusted name brand company like Philips. So- I got nervous about my eyes being damaged and stopped using it and bought this one instead. Save your money and buy this quality item instead. The Philips device doesn’t come with sun protection because the light doesn’t escape the sides of the machine when you’re flashing the area – MUCH SAFER!Second – I used the machine on my underarms first because I’m still a bit tan and was going to Maui soon after using it the first time. I’m Caucasian but get tan easily and I worried it wouldn’t work well. I was very pleased with the results and after using it the second time there was almost no re-growth of hair which is awesome. I’m only on the first pass on my legs and bikini right now but I can tell already that it’s going to have the same results. I’m soooo excited.All in all I’m happy I’ve taken the time to make these changes – and it does take time! – and happy with this product, especially compared with others. This saves a lot of money over going to a salon/hair removal place and it’s awesome to be able to do it for myself at home. Highly recommend!!!

Easier to use than I expected!
So far so good! I wasn’t sure what to expect since I have not used a product like this before, but it was really nice to be able to do this treatment at home. And it is really easy to use, and has instruction videos for folks who find that helpful. Two tips when you get it:1. Use the app. It’s actually helpful: it reminds you of the next treatment time, and can track different body parts separately.2. Before using it for the first time, you need to do a test 24h prior on the body part(s) you want to use the product on, so block out a little time the day before your first treatment for thatOtherwise so far so good!
